Swami Shridharananda had the rare privilege of serving Swami Virajananda, a disciple of Swami Vivekananda and the sixth president of the Ramakrishna Order of India. Swami Sridharananda served as head of the Ramakrishna Mission, Lucknow for 45 years. In 2000, he founded the Vedanta Centre of Sydney, as well as other centers in Australia and New Zealand.
